Overcoming Anxiety Part 2: Breaking the Cycle Through Faith, Mind, and Body

Anxiety often feels like the body sounding an alarm with no real threat in sight — and that’s not a coincidence. In Part 2 of this series, Rey NP breaks down anxiety from both a clinical and spiritual lens: how the nervous system’s fight-or-flight response can misfire on a thought alone, and how scripture pointed to the mind as the real battleground long before neuroscience gave it a name.

He unpacks why negative thinking creates a self-fulfilling cycle, and draws a direct line between cognitive behavioral therapy and biblical teaching on renewing the mind. He also addresses generational curses — what they are, how they take hold, and how forgiveness plays a role in breaking them — before walking through the physical side of healing: nutrition, exercise, and sleep, and how each one supports the brain’s chemistry and stress response.

The video closes with a prayer of salvation and a full healing prayer, addressing anxiety, depression, and physical illness directly.

This is part two of a two-part series. Watch Part 1 first for the full foundation.
